Massive lineup expansion for TCL in South Africa – New Mini LED TVs, smartphones, tablets, and more

TCL is passionate about driving innovation that transforms everyday experiences, and this at the centre of its newest range of products.

This is according to Mike Chen, the General Manager of TCL South Africa, at TCL’s launch event at Daytona, Melrose Arch, Sandton.

The event showcased an extensive lineup of new smart devices for the South African market, including Mini LED TVs, smartphones, tablets, and home appliances.

Chen explained that this new launch is driven by significant demand for TCL products among South African consumers.

“South African consumers have shown incredible enthusiasm for TCL’s innovations, and the launch of our new products is another step in delivering premium technology, immersive entertainment, and unbeatable value to homes across the country.”

Exciting new technology

The star of the show was TCL’s new Mini LED TVs, headlined by several new display technologies and high-end Bang & Olufsen speaker systems.

“The big difference with our 2025 Mini LED TVs is that every model includes an HVA [High Vertical Alignment] panel, giving you 178-degree viewing angles – perfect for families watching together from all around the room,” said Chen.

Furthermore, All-Domain Halo Control technology offers a full stack of technologies that reduce haloing, enhance black levels, and ensure image clarity from every angle.

“Lighting control has become much more important. We’ve made it more structured and precise in every part of the panel,” said Chen.
